Two pennies on the garage floor that I won’t pick up. They seem to balance themselves out. Good vs. Evil
Dream Crushers
I’ve been reading lately about the student loan debt bubble about to burst and I’m also trying to figure out what I’m going to do with my own debt. How the hell did this loan thing get this out of hand??? It’s crazy to think that for profit schools and other collages are not only raising tuition every semester but they are forcing students to take out crazy loan amounts. Where do they think people will find the money to repay them? And worse yet who is the loan money really going to? Well, with the school I went to it was to the shareholders, not to improve the school.
I hope that the president will forgive student loans and help out the economy. If the working class that need to education were given a hand, then we can help rebuild this country into something we can all be proud of again. By crushing the dreams of people who want to go to college under massive debt, we short change our future.
Big fat fraud (a student’s nightmare)
Now, don’t get me wrong, we all get hoodwinked by something or other. For me, it was the dangling carrot of a college education. I’ve worked my trade/job for over a decade and I want to move on to a new career. Wow, was I fucking in for a surprise. It’s not like I thought it would be, by a long shot. And, the school I went to is now being sued for wrongly enticing students to attend then saddling them with huge loans. I didn’t take out any private loans to cover the costs. But my dream got kinda crushed. I’ve just started to work on my photos again, and I’ve teamed up with a graphic designer and a web designer. I guess my point to this rambling mess is I never thought that a school would be so underhanded and cruel. And stupid. Did they think that big brother wasn’t watching them file for all those student loans? Shit, most artists can barely tie their shoes, let alone file a fasfa for Sallie Mae. It’s a cruel joke to tell someone that they are talented and that they can reach their dream. Just sign here.
Living life isn’t that complicated.
The world is both our cradle and our trap. We all seem to believe that we are each unique, but in reality we are just recycled products. Each thought we have has been thought before. And when we realize that we are just products of the world we live in, our lives become less complicated.
Why be depressed over something we can’t change? Living life isn’t really that complicated.
